The Savory Mushroom Burger

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (button or cremini)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 slice Swiss cheese
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- Burger bun (video)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Season beef patty with salt and pepper; cook until your preferred doneness.
- In a separate pan, sauté mushrooms with butter until golden brown and fragrant.
- Top the cooked patty with Swiss cheese and let it melt.
- Toast the burger bun lightly.
- Assemble: Spread mushrooms over the cheesy patty, add lettuce, and sandwich everything in the bun.
